Sahara is a beautiful long-coat girl that we imported from Australia, again with the intention of hopefully improving the breed here in New Zealand.

She has a sweet nature, but can be a little shy of strangers, however once she gets to know people she is fine.  Like many Shepherd's she loves a game of fetch and if there is not a ball available she is quite happy with an orange or anything else that is round like a ball.  Sahara does not enjoy having too many people around her unless they are people she has developed a relationship with.

She has produced 5 litters of puppies with a number of different males, all by way of artificial insemination with frozen semen that we have imported from different countries.

Although Sahara has been retired from breeding, she remains a part of our pack as a pet. Just like Zulu and Kallie, Sahara will remain with us until she passes, which will hopefully not be for a long while yet.
