Kallie aka Rosehill Kalahari

Sex: Bitch (Female)

Whelped: 20 August 2012

Status: Retired Brood Bitch

E'Prince of Trebons Berger Blanc (Sire) x Rosehill Dreamtime (Dam)

Kallie was whelped on the 20th August 2012 and was imported from Australia as a mate for our boy Zulu. She is a lovely long-coat girl with a shy yet loving nature. She takes a while to warm to strangers, but once she gets to know them is as loving as you could wish for.

She is definitely a girl with a mind of her own. She has excellent pigmentation and conformation and is snow white in colour. We have bred some fabulous puppies from her when mated to Zulu and Akeem, the latter via frozen semen imported from Italy.  Kallie was retired from breeding back in 2020 but remains with us as a much loved pet.

Kallie has always been the Alpha bitch of the pack and has never been shy to assert her dominance over the other girls. After the passing of Zulu she was assessed and became a therapy dog, following in Zulu’s paw steps, we now visit the same retirement homes as what Zulu and I did.  As the “old lady” of the pack she now has the privilege of spending much more time in the house during the cold/wet days and nights that we experience in winter than the younger dogs. She, like all our other dogs will remain with us until her time to cross the Rainbow Bridge arrives.

Many thanks to Sharon and George Muller of Rosehill Kennels in Australia for this beautiful girl.
